Nightingale provides short stay/respite care throughout the year offering a welcome break for carers and a chance for individuals to make decisions about their long term care provisions. Short stay care offers a chance for people to visit the Home over religious holidays or to recuperate after an operation, benefitting from stimulating company, activities and exceptional comfort. Respite residents – as well as their families - often use this time at the Home to make a final decision about their permanent stay at Nightingale.
Short stay/respite care is available to clients who may or may not need nursing care and to those with dementia
Our Residents Services Department is on hand to explain the different options and work out the best way forward for each individual.
We prioritise applications for care from the Refugee and Survivor communities
